Hey Ya'll

Well, this week was an adventure.  On Tuesday we had our car in the shop to get a hitch on it and so we were walking while we were waiting for them to finish.  We walked all over South Lansing and talked to a lot of people who were out cutting their grass.  we stopped at a park for a little bit for a bathroom break and we ran into one of our friends Justin and Ashlee and their daughter, Evelyn.  It was a lot of fun talking to them because it's been a while since we have been in contact.  We were able to get a time set up to go meet them on Friday.  When we ran into Justin and Ashlee it was about 4 and we dropped the car off at 12:00 so we called U Haul and they said they had just barely started.  We ended up walking back to U haul which was a 1.5 mile walk back so that was pretty interesting but we got to talk to a lot of people on the way back.  When we got to the U haul place they still were not done so we had to wait a half hour for them to finish up.  In the meantime we got to talk to a guy who was waiting about the gospel and the cool part was he came to us!

Yesterday we were out doing some door knocking and we knocked into this super nice guy by the name of Jason.  He was super interested and we talked to him about the restoration of the gospel right there on his porch!  After which we asked if he needed help with anything and he said he did. So we went and helped him move some sheep paneling and then he showed us his pigs and cows he had on his small farm.  We have a return appointment for this Wednesday so wish us luck!

On Saturday we helped out with a family history class for a couple of hours in East Lansing.  We didn't do a whole lot of family history.  We were more of the grunt labor type of help, with chairs and projectors.  It was interesting because the majority of the people there were nonmembers.  The spirit of Elijah is real even in nonmembers

Well, besides that we got authorized on Friday to do up to 2 hours of family history work each week. The reason being we can show the people we are teaching how to do family history.

Besides that thanks for the emails and support!
