Well, it was a crazy week, to say the least. We had Zone Conference on Tuesday and it was super good. Our mission president gave a great talk about how somthing changed in 1820. The population increased, the quality of living improved, technology and medicine drastically improved, and the jist of his talk was that we need to be confident about sharing the restoration because not only does the spirit testify of the restoration but statistics show that somthing changed in 1820 when Joseph Smith had the first vision! I also almost lost my companion at this zone conference. We all sat down and I was looking around and I couldn't find my companion so I had to go grab one of the charlotte elders and we found him talking to Elder Myers, one of the senior couples, in the hall. I don't know exactly how it happened but I almost lost my companion!
3 trade-offs! Tuesday and Wednesday we had trade-offs with Charlotte and I went with E. Webecke. He is super cool and loves mountain biking. He is the first person I've met on my mission that likes to MT bike so I was pretty excited about that! Then from Thursday morning to Friday morning we were on trade-offs with the Maridian elders. I was with E. Conolle and we got a ton of work done. We got probably 3 return appointments that day and we picked up someone new to teach it was a really good day! But then right after the Maridian elders left we left for Lansing and had trade-offs with the zone leaders and I was with E. Wilcox and we got a bunch of door knocking done and met a lot of really cool people! Friday for lunch the Zone leaders took us to this hibachi/chinese/sushi buffet. It was so good and I ate so much food I wasn't even hungry for dinner!
On Saturday we helped Allen move. He is someone we are teaching currently and he is super nice and we are going to try and put him on baptismal date the next time we go over to visit him!
I almost forgot, but on Sunday we got to teach primary with the stake president and I forgot how much fun primary was. I wish I could go back!
